About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sonographer to join our Diagnostic Imaging team at Oak Valley Health. As a Sonographer, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality ultrasound services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound examinations in various areas, including general abdomen/pelvis, intracavitary, small parts, routine/high risk obstetrics, vascular (venous and arterial studies), and musculoskeletal and pediatrics.
  • Work independently and as part of a dynamic team to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with Radiologists to discuss cases, provide feedback, and participate in continuing education.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited Canadian ultrasound program or equivalent education.
  • Current membership and good standing with CMRITO.
  • Sonography Canada credentialed (PLI) or ARDMS certification.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience, preferably with teaching hospital experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated good attendance and performance records.
  • Commitment to ongoing continuing education and professional development.
