About the Role

Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and expanding our customer base within your assigned sales territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and expand our customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to identify new business opportunities and develop sales plans.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Ryder's products and services to effectively communicate their value to customers.
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and revenue growth goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, with a proven track record of success in business development and revenue growth.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and teamwork.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales software applications.
