Counter/Inside Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Counter/Inside Sales Representative. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, responding to inquiries, and processing orders in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offering exceptional customer service at our counter and over the phone
  • Responding to inquiries and processing incoming calls and orders in the system
  • Sourcing materials for customers when currently not in stock
  • Developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
  • Handling returns as required
  • Keeping counter and sales area clean
  • Merchandising and showcasing product

Requirements:

  • Minimum grade 12 education required
  • Minimum of two years sales experience (counter sales, inside sales or outside sales) required
  • Post-Secondary courses in Plumbing, HVAC, or Electrical an asset
  • Skilled in serving and negotiating with institutional and industrial purchasers, plumbing or electrical contractors, and the public
  • Knowledge of the Plumbing, HVAC and/or Electrical industry or a background in plumbing and/or products required
