We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team at Premier Property Maintenance Inc. as a Creative Visual Art Specialist.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and sanding surfaces to be painted, repairing cracks and holes, mixing paint to desired color and texture, advising consumers on colors and choice of wall coverings, erecting scaffolding and swing stages, and applying paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces.

As a Creative Visual Art Specialist, you will work independently to deliver high-quality painting services that meet our clients' expectations. You will be required to mix paint to desired color and texture, which may involve working with various paints and materials.

In addition to your technical skills, excellent communication and customer service skills are essential for this role. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, providing expert advice on color selection and wall coverings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted
  • Mix paint to desired color and texture
  • Repair cracks and holes in surfaces
  • Erect scaffolding and swing stages
  • Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces
Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the painting industry. A secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required. Permanent employment is offered, with a salary range of $40,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. This role requires 30 hours of work per week, with English as the primary language of communication.
