Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Community Engagement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in engaging with patients, families, and caregivers to improve healthcare outcomes and experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective engagement strategies to promote patient-centered care and improve health outcomes.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to design and deliver patient engagement programs, including advisory groups, focus groups, and patient feedback initiatives.
  • Conduct outreach and engagement activities with diverse patient populations, including those with lived experience, to gather input and feedback on healthcare services.
  • Analyze and report on engagement data to inform healthcare decisions and improve patient experiences.
  • Build and maintain relationships with patients, families, caregivers, and healthcare providers to promote collaboration and coordination of care.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of healthcare policies, procedures, and best practices related to patient engagement and experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with current trends and research in patient engagement and experience to inform practice and improve outcomes.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in a related field, such as healthcare administration, public health, or social work.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in patient engagement, healthcare administration, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective engagement strategies and programs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make recommendations to improve patient experiences and outcomes.
  • Knowledge of healthcare policies, procedures, and best practices related to patient engagement and experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
