About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team at National Hotel. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and performing various accounting tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other financial documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.

  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping and reporting.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and ability to present financial information to management and other stakeholders.
