We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Technician to join our team at Royal Autodetailing Inc.
Responsibilities- Prepare and calculate cheques for payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Calculate and record fixed assets and depreciation, maintaining up-to-date financial records.
- Manage and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
- Post journal entries, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
- Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports, providing stakeholders with critical information.
- Prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations.
- Prepare trial balance of books, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Reconcile accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- College/CEGEP education in accounting or a related field.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in accounting or a related field.
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organized and efficient, with strong time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
