Key Responsibilities:

* Provide underwriting expertise on facultative cases, with a focus on high net worth business
* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with clients through daily communication and regular visits
* Support Actuarial, Administrative, and Marketing departments on ad hoc projects
* Contribute to initiatives that improve operational efficiencies and mitigate enterprise-wide risk
* Represent the Branch at national and regional underwriting meetings and conferences
* Stay up-to-date with evolving underwriting practices and industry trends

Requirements:

* University-level education in a business, finance, or economics-related discipline
* At least 10 years of underwriting experience with expertise in life underwriting and critical illness & disability underwriting
* FLMI, AALU, or FALU designation is desirable
* Proven track record in managing underwriting and client management responsibilities effectively
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to articulate complex information to internal and external stakeholders
