Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our team at Torbill Holdings Ltd. in an exciting accounting and property management role.

About the Role:
  • This is a permanent full-time position with approximately 35 hours of work per week.
  • The successful candidate will have excellent analytical skills, be organized, and possess strong communication abilities.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with financial records, establishing and maintaining accounts, and preparing financial statements. They will also have knowledge of database software, MS Excel, and MS Office.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Analyze financial data to prepare reports, balance books, and reconcile accounts.
  • Process payments, manage cash flow, and perform other bookkeeping tasks as needed.

The Financial Analyst will work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of Yardi system and database software.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. They will also have excellent time management skills and be able to prioritize tasks effectively.

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package for this role, estimated to be around $45,000 to $55,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
