About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Creekers Bistro. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
    • Train and develop our team members, providing guidance and support to help them improve their skills and performance.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish and implement effective methods to meet our work schedules and deadlines.
    • Estimate and manage our inventory of ingredients and supplies, ensuring that we have everything we need to deliver high-quality food and service.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that our customers receive exceptional service, responding promptly to their needs and concerns.
    • Address any customer complaints or issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on our operations, including sales data and staff performance.
    • Manage our food order summaries and other administrative tasks.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment
    • Restaurant environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
  • Physical Demands
    • Walking and standing for long periods.
    • Physically demanding, with a focus on lifting and carrying heavy objects.
  • Language
    • English language proficiency.
  • Work Schedule
    • 30 to 44 hours per week.
