We are seeking a skilled Food Processing Specialist to join our team at Shin Grand Food Trading Ltd.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing seafood products for marketing or further processing. This includes tasks such as cutting, cleaning, and trimming fish or seafood, scraping away scales, and removing scrap parts using knives.

Additionally, you will be required to condition fish fillets for wrapping or freezing, check products and packaging for defects, and perform corrective machine adjustments as needed.

You will also be responsible for disjointing and removing meat from lobsters or other crustaceans preparatory to canning or further processing, recording production information, setting up and operating machines to can, bag, box, or otherwise package fish and seafood products.

We are looking for a reliable and efficient individual who is able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

This is a permanent position working 40 hours per week with opportunities for overtime.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
