About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Sushi Chef to join our team at Mission Junction Sushi. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality sushi dishes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring that we always have the necessary ingredients and materials on hand.
  • Cleanliness and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Supply Chain Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to maintain our high standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment
  • Cuisine Specialties: Japanese cuisine
  • Government Programs: Recognized employer, permanent work term, and English language proficiency
