About this role

We are seeking a seasoned Commercial Leader to drive the profitable growth of our Canadian wire & cable and EP&ES business. As Vice President Canada, you will be responsible for developing and executing the commercial business plan, meeting or exceeding volume and profit goals, and leading our Canadian outside sales, inside sales, pricing, product management, supply chain, people & culture, and marketing team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with distributors, retailers, and customers, including expansion into new markets and customer segments.
  • Optimize and lead annual sales and operation planning process, including forecasting, budgeting, and resource allocation.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with new and existing distributors and retailers to expand product offerings and solutions, ensuring favorable terms, pricing, and contracts.
  • Partner with marketing to develop integrated marketing and sales strategies to drive brand awareness in support of growth and customer engagement.
  • Develop trade management and pricing strategies to maximize ROI on promotional activities, marketing initiatives, and customer care/rewards programs.
  • Translate vision into actionable plans and initiatives, fostering a positive work culture through inclusive and equitable leadership, ensuring an environment where team members are inspired and cultivated for growth.
  • Partner with People and Culture to improve organization's efficiency and increase engagement at an employee and customer level.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in commercial leadership roles, with a proven track record of driving business growth and development.
  • Strong business acumen, with expertise in sales strategy, market analysis, and customer relationship management.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • A strategic mindset, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
