Director of Commercial Insurance Operations

We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Commercial Insurance Operations to join our team at Northbridge Financial Corporation. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for mentoring, conducting performance reviews, and coaching staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles.
You will play a critical role in presenting at sales meetings to provide guidance to our Federated Executives and sales staff on areas where our Contact+ team can add value. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining and building exceptional working relationships with clients, sales, underwriting, and other office personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining the annual budget and setting goals for the business unit.
- Assessing staff training needs and providing recommendations for training opportunities.
- Maintaining relationships with our insurance providers and the national Federated sales force.
- Helping staff with front-line underwriting, marketing, and sales of submissions received.
- Developing marketing programs to support Federated Insurance's needs.
Requirements:
- Level 3 RIBO License.
- 10 or more years of commercial insurance experience.
- Underwriting experience is considered an asset.
