Kitchen Helper Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at The Bund Shanghai Cuisine & Bar. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and presentation of food and beverages
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including dishes, utensils, and equipment
  • Restock supplies and ingredients as needed
  • Assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruits
  • Participate in cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, including floors, walls, and equipment
  • Assist with waste disposal and recycling
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods
