About the Job

We are seeking a Medical Laboratory Technologist to join our team at Kootenay Boundary Regional Hospital in Trail, BC. This is a relief full-time opportunity in Microbiology, working rotating day and evening shifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and complex tests, utilizing manual procedures and automated instruments
  • Enter data into the Lab Information System (LIS), related systems and programs
  • Validate and report test results
  • Maintain instruments, prepare solutions and control agents
  • Contribute to training, evaluation and improvement programs
