Parts Operations Manager

Brandt Truck & Trailers is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Parts Department as a Parts Operations Manager. This key role is responsible for driving sales growth, optimizing inventory management, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Oversee the management of all aspects of parts inventory within our parts system to ensure parts turn KPIs are met.
- Process Optimization: Streamline Parts Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Sales Growth: Develop and implement strategies to grow profitable parts sales.
- Expense Control: Exercise disciplined expense control to meet or exceed department budget.
- Vendor Relationships: Manage parts vendor relationships, including service expectations, pricing, inventory requirements, and contract negotiation.
- Team Leadership: Maintain a high-performance parts team through hiring, training, coaching, mentoring, and performance management in a safe environment.
- Customer Service: Ensure superior external and internal parts customer service through staff scheduling to cover business hours.
- Product Sourcing: Work with product support and manufacturing groups to source and stock internally manufactured product parts.
- Business Planning: Develop annual parts sales business plan and budget to include support to other Brandt branches.
- Cross-Marketing: Collaborate with Sales departments to maximize cross-marketing opportunities.
- Leadership Experience: Previous leadership experience in a parts department is preferred.
- Technical Skills: HD Journeyman Parts person ticket is considered an asset, as well as warehouse management experience.
- Interpersonal Skills: Proven ability to effectively lead a customer-focused team to achieve required goals.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, analytical thinker with strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Computer Skills: Experience implementing and streamlining processes, change management experience preferred.
