About the Role:

At ITR Laboratories Canada Inc., we are committed to advancing the field of drug safety testing. As a Genetic Toxicology Analyst, you will play a vital role in our team by conducting method development, validation, and sample analysis work in a multi-disciplinary GLP-regulated laboratory.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, validate, and execute various analytical techniques, including Bacterial Mutation Test (BMT), Chromosome Aberration Test (CAT), and InVitro Micronucleus (IVM).
  • Participate in routine laboratory duties, such as reagent preparation, instrument calibration, and maintenance.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of study results, instrument maintenance, and training records.
  • Comply with established protocols, study plans, and departmental SOPs.

Requirements:

  • College or Bachelor degree in biology, biochemistry, or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work under time constraints and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Proficiency in Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and proficiency with common computer software for data analysis.
