At Driftstone Consulting Inc, we are a consulting engineering firm that provides services in structural engineering, code consulting, and project management. Our team is based in Regina, SK, but we consult across western Canada in various sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural, and institutional.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our growing team as a Structural Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the preparation of construction drawings in conformance with the National Building Code and various related standards. You will also perform field reviews to verify construction and collaborate on resolutions for issues encountered on-site.
To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering specializing in structural design from a recognized university. A minimum of 10 years experience in structural engineering with demonstrated technical skills is required. Additionally, you must be registered as a Professional Engineer with APEGA, APEGS, and/or EGM. You should have working knowledge of the National Building Code and municipal regulations, as well as experience in preparing structural construction documents.
The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills. You must be motivated and detailed oriented with a willingness to learn and grow with our company.
