Delivering Exceptional Customer Service

We are seeking a skilled Deli Clerk to join our dynamic team at Deer Park Food Store. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing sandwiches, pizzas, salads, and other items, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide outstanding customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Prepare and package food items for purchase, including sandwiches, pizzas, salads, and fried foods
  • Stock and maintain inventory levels, including slicing and labeling products
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • Experience with food preparation is an asset; training is available
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; some heavy lifting is required
