About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2582099 Ontario Inc. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that food and service meet the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
    • Prepare and submit reports
  • Knowledge and Skills
    • Must have knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres
    • Establish work schedules
Work Environment

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a fast-paced environment and be able to work under pressure. The physical demands of this role include a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role
