Position Overview

The role of a Food Service Supervisor is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our dining services at Tim Hortons. This position involves overseeing daily activities and managing staff to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and service staff, ensuring efficient food preparation and service.
  • Supply Management: Requisition necessary food and kitchen supplies to maintain operational standards.
  • Training: Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet established quality standards.
  • Customer Relations: Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock levels, repairs, sales, and waste management.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit operational reports as required.
  • Tray Assembly Supervision: Oversee the assembly of food trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
Work Environment

This position requires the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and to work effectively under pressure. The role involves standing for extended periods and walking, requiring a strong attention to detail.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry.
  • Employment Type: Permanent position.
  • Language: Proficiency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
