Job Summary

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our team in the restaurant division. As a key member of our finance team, you will contribute to achieving business objectives and financial performance goals. You will act as a resource for internal clients in operational analysis and produce statistical and management reports to support decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in the annual budgeting process for the division in collaboration with business partners and provide ongoing support throughout the budgeting process to achieve targeted objectives.
  • Participate in the end-of-period process, analyze variances (versus the previous year and budget), and produce required management reports.
  • Identify, analyze, and produce various performance indicator tracking reports, specifically for:
    • Division restaurant costs;
    • Client service restaurant costs;
    • Corporate restaurants.
  • Work closely with Operations to provide support at the management, strategy, and operations levels to support the growth and profitability of the corporate restaurant network.
  • Support managers/business partners in analyzing ad-hoc initiatives.
  • Monitor capital expenditures, ensuring compliance with approved budgets and approval processes.
  • Optimize and create necessary analysis models to support decision-making.
  • Participate in the annual financial year-end process and quarterly and annual audits.
  • Conduct rigorous weekly follow-ups with the Operations team regarding corporate restaurant results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting (or equivalent);
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience;
  • Excellent mastery of Excel and knowledge of Word and PowerPoint in a Windows environment;
  • Knowledge of Power BI/Query;
  • Knowledge of SAP and experience working with business intelligence tools;
  • Bilingualism.
