Nursing Specialist

Your Opportunity:
The Alberta Health Services is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team in the Labour and Delivery Unit at Foothills Medical Centre. As a Nursing Specialist, you will provide patient-centered care to mothers and newborns throughout the antenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum periods.
You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe and quality care is provided in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work effectively in stressful situations, and maintain accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients and their families
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate records and reports
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA)
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous obstetrical nursing experience
- Recent critical care, medical surgical, and/or Operating Room experience
Estimated Salary:
$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
