Job Summary:
Redstone Family Medical Clinic is seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and working collaboratively with our medical staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare practitioners during examinations or treatments
- Monitor patients and advise physicians of any changes in patients' condition
- Address and document symptoms and changes in patients' conditions
- Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions
- Collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary health team to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care in consultation with patients and their families
- Deliver immunization programs
- Dispense and administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician
- Engage in research activities related to nursing
- Operate or monitor medical apparatus or equipment
- Provide nursing care
- Supervise licensed practical nurses and other nursing staff
Requirements:
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse by provincial or territorial authorities
- CPR Certificate
