The company is currently seeking a Billing and Customer Service Office Coordinator to join its team at the Thompson Terminal.
The Billing and Customer Service Office Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and completing a series of office duties in support of all terminal operations. These duties include:
- Providing friendly, helpful, and positive customer service
- Completing accurate and timely billing of shipping documents
- Completing general office duties such as filing, reception, tracing, and customer service
- Answering phones and directing calls to the appropriate person
- Entering information about completed deliveries into the computer system
- Scanning documents to be saved in the imaging system
- Generating and producing reports pertaining to on-time performance for key customers
- Performing other duties as assigned and required to meet the goals of the terminal
- Performing all work in a safe manner and complying with all Gardewine safe work practices, policies, and procedures
The ideal candidate will have:
Qualifications
A secondary education in a related field, with previous transportation experience considered an asset. The candidate should possess strong organizational skills, time management, attention to detail, and a positive and friendly customer service manner. Outstanding telephone and customer service skills are also required. Strong computerized data entry skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office, with a focus on Excel and Word, are essential. The ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment is also necessary.
