Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Director, Enterprise Risk Management to lead our Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) initiative across CN globally. This role will provide insights to management on risks and their potential impacts on the company's activities and strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Collaborate with function leaders and executives to identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor risks.
  2. Influence stakeholders to include ERM as a key consideration in growth strategies to align Risk, Strategy, and Performance.
  3. Lead comprehensive risk assessments and analysis to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities across all areas of the organization.
  4. Utilize qualitative and quantitative methods to evaluate the impact and likelihood of risks.
  5. Design effective risk mitigation strategies, including action plans with business units.
  6. Prepare and present risk reports and dashboards to senior management and the Board of Directors.
  7. Communicate risk-related information clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
Requirements
  1. Between 10 to 15 years of risk management or related experience.
  2. Proven experience in risk management with a track record of successful risk management implementation in a complex organization.
  3. Strong understanding of risk management frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
  4. In-depth experience in embedding ERM in organizational culture and linking it to financial performance.
  5. Experience in the rail industry or transportation sector is an asset.
Education/Certification/Designation
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Technical Skills/Knowledge

Fluently bilingual written and verbal (English, French).
