EDI Strategist

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced EDI professional to join our team as a Manager, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI), People and Culture at EightSix Network. This role will partner with internal stakeholders to activate and amplify EDI externally and throughout our offices as part of a cohesive national EDI, People and Culture Strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual EDI programming and events that align with our company's values and goals.
- Advise and support our Action Committees and affinity groups in their annual planning and programming, including budget oversight.
- Develop and implement EDI strategy, best practices, and metrics to measure our progress.
- Partner with our Communications and Recruitment teams to build our EDI brand, outreach, and visibility aligned to our national EDI, People & Culture strategy.
- Oversee general EDI and culture communications, including reviewing and updating related content in our newsletters and intranet.
- Partner with our Talent and HR teams to embed EDI in their talent processes.
- Contribute to and participate in relevant committees across the company to embed EDI at the earliest stages of planning.
- Oversee external partnerships related to EDI.
Qualifications
- Completed education in a relevant field.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in developing and implementing HR or EDI strategy within a professional services environment.
- Experience in leading and developing communications and employee engagement initiatives, ideally in EDI.
- Experience in analyzing data and developing data-driven solutions.
- Experience in providing advice or coaching in EDI and/or HR.
- Strong experience in communications, including writing and delivering reports and presentations.
- Strong ability to work with and collaborate with leaders and internal stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize.
- Excellent multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to work independently, set own priorities while maintaining flexibility.
