About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Ai-DevOps Consultant to join our team at Kumaran Systems. As a key member of our DevOps team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cluster Administration: Deploy and configure Red Hat OpenShift clusters according to best practices, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery.
  • MLOps Expertise: Leverage experience with MLOps, A.I., ML, and MLFlow to develop and deploy machine learning models in cloud-based environments.
  • Security and Compliance: Set up and maintain cluster authentication, RBAC, and security policies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Cluster Customization: Customize cluster configurations to meet specific application requirements, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Implement monitoring solutions to track the health and performance of OpenShift clusters, and troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cluster operations and application deployments.
  • Cluster Scaling and Management: Manage cluster scaling, including the addition and removal of nodes as needed, to ensure optimal resource utilization.
  • High Availability and Disaster Recovery: Implement high availability and disaster recovery strategies for OpenShift clusters, ensuring minimal downtime and data loss.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure the security of OpenShift environments by applying security patches, access controls, and network policies, and monitor and enforce compliance with security standards and regulations.
  • Backup and Recovery: Develop and maintain backup and recovery procedures for OpenShift clusters, and test and verify disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime and data loss.
  • Automation and CI/CD: Automate repetitive tasks using scripting and orchestration tools, and create and manage CI/CD pipelines for application deployment.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Experience building end-to-end systems as a Platform Engineer, ML DevOps Engineer, or Data Engineer (or equivalent).
  • Software Engineering Skills: Strong software engineering skills in complex, multi-language systems.
  • Programming Languages: Fluency in Python.
  • Linux Administration: Comfort with Linux administration.
  • Cloud Computing: Experience working with cloud computing and database systems.
  • API Development: Experience building custom integrations between cloud-based systems using APIs.
  • ML Systems Development: Experience developing and maintaining ML systems built with open source tools.
  • Containerization and Kubernetes: Experience developing with containers and Kubernetes in cloud computing environments.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
