Senior Cost Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Consultant to join our team. As a Senior Cost Consultant, you will provide cost estimating services to new and existing clients, working closely with our clients to understand their unique requirements and deliver innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide cost estimating services to clients, including preparing estimates at various stages of the design process.
  • Conduct needs analysis and develop solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Prepare benchmarking reports for construction and development costs.
  • Conduct tender analysis and cost reconciliation exercises.
  • Prepare front-end cost reports to support cost estimates.
  • Undertake and complete periodic site inspections and estimating reports.
  • Assist in preparation of change order review analysis and lifecycle cost estimates.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of related experience in cost estimating.
  • Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.
  • Intermediate level of understanding of construction estimates.
  • General understanding of residential/ICI/civil projects.
  • Experience working at a consulting firm (billable environment) is an asset.
  • Member of RICS or LEED accreditation is an asset.
  • Excellent knowledge of Sharepoint, Excel, Word, and measurement software.
  • Working knowledge of CostX, Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Project is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of CIQS standard method of measurement – elemental/trade, Provincial lien act and Standard contract conditions – CCDC.
