Procurement Specialist

We are seeking an exceptional customer service professional to join our team as a Buyer II. As a leading supply chain solutions business in the aerospace industry, our customers are at the heart of our business.
Key Responsibilities:- Apply a clear and accurate understanding of purchasing policies and procedures to successfully satisfy sales orders.
- Review incoming purchase requisitions for routine and non-routine purchases and contracts.
- Identify approved suppliers and obtain quotes for competitive bidding.
- Award purchase orders in support of business plans and strategic objectives.
- Assist in the training of less experienced buyers under the guidance of Buyer III and/or department manager.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of purchasing practices and procedures.
- Strong knowledge of Wesco commodities or aerospace parts is preferred.
- Proven skills in interpreting basic to general technical specifications and bids.
- Demonstrated experience in establishing and maintaining positive and effective working relationships.
- Ability to train and motivate less experienced personnel to excellence.
