At SUBWAY SANDWICHES & SALADS, we are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to join our team.
Job Summary:The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Supervise and train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare and submit reports to management.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Equivalent experience may be considered.
- Fast-paced environment.
- Work under pressure with tight deadlines.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Standing for extended periods.
- Recognized employer.
- Support for newcomers and refugees, including assistance with immediate settlement needs and foreign credential recognition.
- Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
