Job Title: Food Service Supervisor Lead

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Supervisor Lead to join our team at Maple Pizza & Donair. This is a permanent full-time position with 35 hours per week.

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of food service staff, ensuring that all meals are prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner. They will also be responsible for maintaining high standards of customer service, managing inventory and supplies, and preparing reports as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns and maintain high standards of customer satisfaction.
  • Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit reports as required.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills: Excellent leadership and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and attention to detail.
Work Environment:

This is a fast-paced environment where you will be required to work under pressure, stand for extended periods, and walk frequently. You must be physically able to perform the duties of this position.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including health and dental insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
