About the Role
  • The successful candidate will lead a wide range of analyses and projects, including flexible benefit pricing, renewals, and risk assessments.
  • You will interface with carriers, vendors, and client service teams to deliver high-quality results to clients.
  • Your analytical skills will be essential in communicating strategies and results that drive client action and improve plan performance.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead clients' financial engagements for a portfolio of clients, managing analytical resources on complex deliverables.
  2. Expand knowledge of varying client complexity by working across different client profiles.
  3. Demonstrate advanced knowledge in all aspects of benefit plan design, underwriting, and funding concepts, carrier/vendor renewals, and RFPs.
  4. Provide direction to larger clients on benefit plan analysis, design, cost avoidance, risk, and funding strategies.
  5. Review technical and consulting accuracy on multiple types of client projects.
  6. Develop pricing models, design alternatives, and ensure reasonability of results.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years' experience in benefit consulting or brokerage, ideally gained in a senior leadership role.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage multiple deliverables simultaneously, producing high-quality results on time and within budget.
  • Strong financial skills, knowledge of benefit program products and services, underwriting, and funding concepts.
  • Experience with traditional and flexible benefit programs, including design elements, renewal pricing, analysis, risk assessment, negotiations, RFP process, and analysis.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with experience working with data to draw conclusions.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of $140,000 - $170,000 per annum.
