Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Developer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our web-based telematics platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop scalable software applications using object-oriented programming principles.
  • Quality Assurance: Perform peer reviews, ensure coding standards are followed, and identify logic errors and bugs.
  • Troubleshooting: Analyze call stacks, trace files, and performance data to identify and resolve issues.
  • Prototyping and Proof of Concept: Participate in the development of prototypes and proofs of concept to demonstrate new ideas and technologies.
  • Technical Support: Provide assistance to our support staff and resellers from a technical perspective, including on-call and ad-hoc support.
  • Research and Development: Research new language features, frameworks, and technologies, and provide recommendations for their adoption.
  • Best Practices: Assist in defining and implementing best practices for the team.
  • On-Call Schedule: Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotating schedule to ensure timely resolution of critical issues.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience as a software developer using object-oriented programming to build scalable applications.
  • Technical Skills: Deep knowledge of C# backend development and ASP.NET, proficiency in analyzing datasets, experience with Postgres database, and working knowledge of Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical skills, problem-solving ability, and excellent communication skills.
  • Education: Bachelor of Computer Science, Electrical/Software Engineering, or related degree.
