Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Optician to join our team at LensCrafters in London, ON. As a Licensed Optician, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and providing expert advice on eyewear and vision care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses
  • Act as a leader in optical acumen and provide a voice for associates
  • Takes and records measurements, adjusts or fits eyewear correctly, thorough and exact in details
  • Attracts new customers and explores their needs and priorities
  • Utilizes store tools and adheres to Brand Store Commitments
  • Performs work accurately and thoroughly utilizing all technology despite time pressure and customer volume
  • Anticipates problems and explores underlying reasons for customer issues
  • Possesses the ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time with competing priorities

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • State Licensure
  • Optical dispensing experience
  • Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener and team builder
  • Knowledge of current store merchandise
  • Strong basic math skills
  • Awareness of current fashion trends
  • Selling skills – ability to use and carry an iPAD/tablet
  • Familiarity with POS, computers and calculators
