We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at CuppaJoe Coffee Roasters. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our coffee shop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Requisition and Inventory Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure timely delivery.
  • Staff Supervision and Coordination: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring high-quality service and efficient operations.
  • Quality Control and Budgeting: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, ensure food and service meet quality control standards, and prepare budget and cost estimates.
  • Customer Service and Communication: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and prepare and submit reports as required.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with regular walking and attention to detail required.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, team player, initiative, and dependability are essential for success in this role.
