Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Operations Manager to join our team at Kepler Communications. As the Inventory and Shipping Associate, you will play a critical role in leading company-wide supply chain activities, ensuring our engineering and manufacturing teams have the necessary supplies and parts to design, test, and produce our next-generation constellation of satellites.

This newly expanded position requires a mix of following established processes and improving day-to-day logistics and inventory management activities. You will maintain the processes playbook and implement new systems to add value to our supply chain operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage logistics for pickups and deliveries of all shipments, both domestically and internationally, including customs paperwork preparation and coordination with carriers.
  • Problem solve for any cases of missing documents or import/export discrepancies.
  • Prepare shipments by ensuring all necessary documentation, labeling, and packaging materials are properly utilized.
  • Manage inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
  • Lead inventory management activities, including inventory counts and recording incoming/outgoing transactions, picking product for sales and work orders.
  • Contribute to a team effort and undertake other special projects as requested.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance shipping efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma, with additional courses and training in Inventory Control, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management would be an asset.
  • Up to 3 years of logistics/inventory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with Shipping and Receiving.
  • Excellent software skills, with the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications, with intermediate expertise in Excel.

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits package and opportunities for professional growth.
