Trillium Health Partners is seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our 2D Mental Health unit. As a member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care to adult and seniors mental health patients in a safe and therapeutic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients in accordance with established standards and evidence-based practices.
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions to promote patient recovery.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Current annual certificate of competency with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in an adult mental health hospital setting.
- Medication Certificate and experience with medication administration within the last year.
- Effective interpersonal, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Reliable and flexible individual who can work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team environment.
- Positive attendance and work record essential.
