Job Title: Ethnic Food Cook

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Ethnic Food Cook to join our team at Asian Hakka Chinese & Indian Restaurant. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Manage kitchen operations
Requirements:
  • Experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
