Tiger Calcium Services Inc. is a leading provider of high-quality calcium chloride products, serving the western region of Canada. With a strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction, we are seeking an experienced Route Delivery Specialist to join our team.
Job Overview:
The successful candidate will operate a tractor-trailer unit to deliver calcium chloride products to customers and field storage locations throughout Western Canada. This role requires a high level of expertise in navigating challenging terrain and adhering to Federal Hours of Service regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a tractor-trailer unit to deliver products to customers and field storage tanks.
- Perform pre and post-trip inspections on the truck and trailer.
- Accurately complete electronic logs (E-Log) while adhering to Federal Hours of Service regulations.
- Loading and unloading products with precision.
- Represent the company professionally to customers and the general public.
- Accurate way-bill recording through TMW.
- Completion of timesheets, fuel envelopes, and mileage envelopes.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Daily job hazard assessments.
- Adhere to and promote Tiger Calcium's Health, Safety, and Environmental policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Valid Class 1 driver's license.
- Minimum 3 years of Super B driving experience.
- 18 Speed experience considered an asset.
- Clean driver's abstract.
- Geographic knowledge of Western Canada.
- Liquid bulk hauling, off-road driving, mountain driving, and TMW program experience.
- Experience working on CN Rail property considered an asset.
- Ability to put tire chains on.
- Knowledge of Federal Hours of Service regulations.
- Knowledge of running hydraulic pumps.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
