Job Description

The Community and Indigenous Engagement Lead will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive public information program and Indigenous and local community engagement and consultation activities.

This position will also involve providing advice and guidance to Foran on the development and implementation of policies and procedures to advance reconciliation with Indigenous Peoples.

  • Develop and implement cultural awareness training for MBO supervisors and employees to improve their understanding and knowledge of Indigenous partners and culture of nearby communities.
  • Lead Foran's Community Investment program and represent MBO at community investment events alongside other members of the community investment committee.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, presentations, and other materials related to MBO's engagement to provide visibility to project and initiative status to various internal and external audiences.
