**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly motivated Indigenous Knowledge Specialist to join our team at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of culturally inclusive education programs, promote Indigenous perspectives, and build meaningful connections with students and faculty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement culturally sensitive curriculum content, incorporating Indigenous knowledge and perspectives.
  • Foster collaboration with faculty members to enhance teaching practices and course materials.
  • Lead the recruitment and engagement of Indigenous advisory committee members.
  • Instruct courses in Indigenous Studies, promoting a culturally diverse community's values.

Required Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Education or related field.
  • Two years recent and relevant experience working with Indigenous communities.
  • Specialization in Indigenous Studies or a related field.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of Indigenous cultures and histories.
  • Effective communication and instructional skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion.
