About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Limited.

This is a Full-Time position located in Weston, with opportunities for professional growth and development.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production lines, providing immediate preventative and corrective maintenance support, and troubleshooting equipment problems.

  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform immediate repairs and preventative maintenance on machinery.
  • Overhaul and install new equipment to maintain optimal production levels.
  • Rebuild and fabricate parts to meet production demands.
  • Perform facility maintenance and ensure a clean and safe work environment.
  • Generate parts requests to maintain adequate inventory levels.
  • Complete work orders as assigned by management.
  • Assist in equipment change-overs and production line set-ups.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A valid 433A Millwright license is required. Dual Ticket (Electrician/Millwright) is preferred.
  • 1-5 years of industrial maintenance experience as a millwright.
  • The ability to read and interpret diagrams.
  • Prior diagnostic/troubleshooting and preventative maintenance experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Programmable Logic Control (PLC) is an asset.
  • Previous experience in high-speed industrial environments, particularly in bottling, is preferred.
  • Demonstrated mechanical and technical aptitude.
  • BASIC computer skills, including usage of SAP systems.
