Job Overview:

Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Strategy & Innovation team as a Business Innovation Strategist. This role will provide an opportunity to contribute to the company's growth and innovation initiatives through research, analysis, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and present compelling business cases and strategic initiatives to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Support the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and benchmarks for new initiatives.
  • Research and report on industry-standard processes and best practices.
  • Facilitate and collaborate with stakeholders to execute ad-hoc initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution with a focus on business, analytics, or a related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to frame business problems and initiate research and analysis tasks.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Team-oriented, positive, and people-focused attitude.
