Job Description

Thompson Rivers University is seeking a highly qualified and experienced instructor to teach various courses within the Department of Management, International Business, Info and Supply Chain in the Gaglardi School of Business and Economics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach one or more of the following courses: Supply Chain Management, Procurement Management, Operations Management, Transportation & Logistics, and Select Topic Supply Chain Management.
  • Develop and deliver engaging and effective course materials, including lectures, assignments, and assessments.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
  • Participate in departmental and faculty meetings, and contribute to the development of curriculum and programs.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a Supply Chain-related area, or MBA with specialization in Supply Chain Management, or MBA with significant teaching or professional experience in Supply Chain Management/Operations Management.
  • Teaching experience in supply chain management or related work experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current topics of interest in business and supply chain management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong teaching experience, with evidence from student evaluations.
  • Moodle Learning Management System and MS Office experience.
