About the Role
The Medical Laboratory Technologist will be responsible for performing routine and/or complex tests, utilizing manual procedures and automated instruments. They will also enter data into the Lab Information System (LIS), related systems and programs, and validate and report test results. Additionally, they will maintain instruments, prepare solutions and control agents, and contribute to training, evaluation and improvement programs.

About the Location
The Kelowna General Hospital Laboratory is a 24/7 lab and progressive teaching facility. The Lab consists of hundreds of team members who work collaboratively in a variety of disciplines such as Collections, Accession, Chemistry, Hematology, Transfusion Medicine, Microbiology, Histology, AP and Molecular. The hospital is situated just moments from Okanagan Lake in the vibrant and growing city of Kelowna.
