Job Title: Site Manager 3

New Chelsea Society is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager 3 to oversee the daily operations of our residential buildings. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our residents, as well as the effective management of our properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of daily building operations, including maintenance and repair duties, to ensure the safety and security of residents and staff.
  • Develop and implement property plans, including fire safety plans, preventative maintenance plans, and emergency binders.
  • Participate in the development of the building annual operating budget and monitor expenditures to ensure alignment with budget targets.
  • Provide leadership in facility planning, including renovations and building maintenance, and ensure that all work is coordinated effectively.
  • Supervise staff, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Monitor the performance of assigned staff and provide ongoing support, coaching, and training to foster high performance and effective teamwork.
  • Ensure that all buildings, residents, products, warranties, maintenance records, and suite information are accurately captured and maintained in relevant software applications.
  • Perform unit inspections, respond to resident inquiries and complaints, and take appropriate actions to resolve issues.
  • Liaise with municipalities and authorities on issues such as permits, licenses, fire and safety codes, and operational codes.
  • Manage and participate in Emergency On-Call-Systems for assigned properties.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in residential housing management, including experience with multi-unit management of a portfolio of 200 or more units.
  • Certificate in Property Management or related field an asset.
  • Experience working with senior, family, special needs residents, and/or mixed housing.
  • Good mechanical and technical skills.
  • Excellent computer skills, including MS Office and property management software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, and dispute resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Must pass a criminal record check related to working with vulnerable residents.
