As a key member of our team, the Customer Experience Sales Specialist will play a vital role in engaging new and existing customers in our products and services. This includes promoting our niche products and staying up-to-date on market trends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to provide exceptional customer service
  • Meet and exceed annual sales goals and profit margin
  • Implement sales strategies to drive sales of all products, including protection products, fertilizer, seed, and specialty services
  • Assist with external facilities management, including fuel pumps and chemical sheds
  • Deliver Rack products to customers on-farm
  • Stay informed of competitor activities and recommend marketing programs and services
  • Engage new customers in our research and arrange customer learning opportunities
  • Help grow existing/new customers by creating call lists and identifying on-farm storage and buying patterns
  • Build client loyalty

Requirements:

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • College graduate with a Major in Business Administration or Agricultural Science preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the agricultural industry, with a diverse portfolio of agricultural experience, primarily in sales
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and possess exceptional communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to increase market share and achieve location goals
  • Ability to work closely with all levels of staff and management
  • Proficient in the use of computers and software, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Technical understanding of the agricultural support industry and ability to identify customer existing and ongoing needs
  • Valid class 5 driver's license and clean driving record
  • Familiarity with Rack Petroleum and our products/services
  • Residency in or near North Battleford, SK
