Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for planning and executing cycle menus, leading daily production, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute cycle menus that showcase local and regional flavors and ingredients
  • Lead daily production and ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Enforce safety protocols and lead by example
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to our team and the community we serve
  • Manage ordering and inventory to ensure seamless operations
  • Participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and mentoring of the culinary team
  • Collaborate with the Food Service management team to drive location management and growth

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of culinary experience, with a focus on high-end catering and banquet operations
  • Substantial knowledge of culinary trends, techniques, and processes
  • Menu planning and production experience, with a focus on local and regional flavors
  • Minimum 5 years of experience managing others in the kitchen, with a focus on leadership and mentorship
  • Ability to lead, not manage, and to mentor the team to drive a culture of extreme ownership
  • Happy disposition, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Current ServSafe certification, as well as local health department certification, where required
